- Absolute Verticality: The lifting mast's guide rail had to maintain a strict perpendicularity to the horizontal plane, with a precision tolerance of less than 0.5 mm. This was a critical requirement for ensuring the load was always perfectly level.
- Custom Drum Clamping: The most significant challenge was the need for a specialized attachment. A custom drum clamp was required to securely grip and lift the barrels. This clamp needed to handle a minimum load of 20 kg and feature a quick-locking mechanism with a powerful locking pressure of no less than 2,352 N. Furthermore, the clamp had to be fully adjustable in all directions—forward, backward, left, and right—once mounted on the carriage.
- Precise Horizontal Guidance: The lifting carriage, or "little car," needed more than just a vertical lift. It required custom guide plates and a pair of guide rails on either side to ensure precise and stable horizontal movement. This feature was crucial for aligning the drum with its final destination without any lateral drift.
- Enhanced Mobility and Stability: While the unit needed to be mobile, it was crucial that it could be locked into place once it reached its target. The design specified front directional wheels and rear swivel casters, with a locking mechanism that would completely prevent the unit from moving in any direction—forward, backward, or sideways.
- Repeatable Positioning: For tasks that required a consistent lifting height, the machine needed both upper and lower adjustable limiters. To fine-tune positions along the mast, adjustable, wear-resistant positioning blocks were also required. These blocks could be moved up and down the guide rail to provide a precise and repeatable stopping point without causing any damage to the equipment.
These technical demands went far beyond the capabilities of a standard lifting platform. It was a clear call for a custom-engineered solution.

To meet the high-precision demands, the lifting carriage was equipped with specialized guide plates that were attached with screws for easy removal and customization. These plates, combined with the two guide rails on the mast, ensured that the carriage moved with minimal friction and maximum stability. The result was a smooth, precise vertical lift that consistently maintained its horizontal position.
The mobile base was also custom-built for stability. The combination of front directional wheels and rear swivel casters provided excellent maneuverability when in transit. Most importantly, the integrated locking mechanism effectively immobilized the entire unit once it was in place, providing a rock-solid platform for lifting and positioning.
Finally, the inclusion of both upper and lower limiters and the custom positioning blocks on the mast transformed the machine into a highly repeatable lifting tool. Operators could set their desired lifting height for a specific task and know that the machine would stop at that exact point every time, reducing guesswork and increasing operational consistency.
